1 — Acceptance

By accessing or using any part of this platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use this platform. BLACK KNOT ANALYTICS reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2 — About the service

BLACK KNOT ANALYTICS operates an independent educational platform centred on AEGIS — a systematic, rules-based macro investment model. The platform publishes a daily research signal indicating a model portfolio allocation across a defined set of exchange-traded funds. All content is provided for educational and informational purposes only.

BLACK KNOT ANALYTICS is not a registered investment advisor, portfolio manager, broker-dealer, or financial planner. The platform does not manage money on behalf of subscribers. No fiduciary relationship exists between BLACK KNOT ANALYTICS and any subscriber.

3 — Not investment advice

The AEGIS signal, all performance data, all commentary, and all other content published on this platform are provided solely for educational purposes. Nothing on this platform constitutes a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security or financial instrument.

Past performance of the AEGIS model is based on a walk-forward backtest and does not guarantee future results. All investment decisions are made at the sole discretion and risk of the subscriber. BLACK KNOT ANALYTICS accepts no responsibility for any investment outcome, financial loss, or other consequence arising from a subscriber's decision to act on, or not act on, information published on this platform.

4 — Intellectual property

The AEGIS investment model, its underlying methodology, signal generation framework, performance record, and all associated content are the proprietary intellectual property of BLACK KNOT ANALYTICS and its founder. All rights are reserved.

The specific signal inputs, weighting methodology, regime classification logic, and tactical overlay mechanics are trade secrets. Access to the platform for personal, non-commercial educational use does not convey any licence to copy, reverse-engineer, reproduce, or distribute any proprietary element of the AEGIS system.

5 — Permitted use

Subscribers may access and use this platform solely for their own personal, non-commercial, educational purposes. Permitted use includes reading the signal, reviewing performance data, and using the educational content to inform their own personal investment decisions.

6 — Prohibited use

The following are expressly prohibited:

• Redistributing, sharing, publishing, or transmitting the AEGIS signal or any platform content to any third party, whether for compensation or otherwise.
• Using the signal or any platform content as the basis for a service or product offered to others, including any investment advisory, newsletter, or managed account service.
• Sharing account credentials with any other person.
• Accessing the platform through automated means, scripts, bots, or scraping tools of any kind.
• Framing, mirroring, or republishing any portion of the platform without prior written consent.
• Misrepresenting the AEGIS signal or performance data in any way.

BLACK KNOT ANALYTICS reserves the right to terminate access immediately and without notice for any violation of these prohibitions.

7 — Access and subscription

Access to the platform is contingent on maintaining an active subscription in good standing. BLACK KNOT ANALYTICS reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for any violation of these terms, at its sole discretion and without refund obligation.

The platform and its content are provided "as is." BLACK KNOT ANALYTICS makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any purpose of the signal or any other content published on this platform. Service interruptions may occur without notice.

8 — Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BLACK KNOT ANALYTICS and its founder shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this platform or its content — including any investment losses, however caused.

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the platform is to discontinue use and cancel your subscription.

9 — Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
